At Mad Monkey Waterfront we offer an affordable and clean accommodation in the heart of Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Being located on the Cairns Esplanade with the Cairns Lagoon just across the street, you can pop down for a dip or spend the afternoon sunbathing anytime you fancy! Thanks to our ultra-fast Free Wi-Fi throughout the property, you won’t miss out on anything. Enjoy our fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meals. Unwind in our common room after a great day out, exploring all-natural wonders that Cairns and its surroundings have to offer. Get to know other guests over board games, a PlayStation tournament or by watching a film together on Netflix provided!
Our reception is open from 8AM - 9PM. You can check in at 2PM. If you arrive after 9pm please inform reception beforehand so they can prepare your late check in. We use GOKI for our door locks & we highly recommend to download the GOKI App before you arrive.
Mad Monkey Waterfront is located directly on the Cairns Esplanade with all the bars, restaurants, shops, The Reef Terminal and the Night Markets just within a short walking distance. Cairns Lagoon is just across the road with Free Access.If arriving by Plane, we highly recommend you book a taxi or an Uber. We’re only a fifteen-minute drive away from the airport. Bus: Mad Monkey Waterfront is located only a 5-minute walk distance from the Greyhound and Premier Bus services. Train: The main Train station is only a 10 min walk away.
We offer all types of accommodation, from Mixed Dorms Ensuite to Female Dorms Ensuite and Private Double Rooms. We have high-quality mattresses, pillows and linen which is included for a comfortable night’s sleep. All our dorms have a private en-suite bathroom and all our private rooms come with personal towels, otherwise our reception team is more than happy to assist you with a towel hire in case you forgot one. All our rooms are Air-Conditioned & All our bunk beds are equipped with personal USB ports & power sockets to make sure you can comfortably scroll through your new travel pictures from bed.

Hanno organizzato la stanza presto.

➜ Ho contattato Stacey che lavora al mad monkey waterfront per aiutarmi a organizzare un tour della costa orientale. Lei è andato al di là di aiutare a prenotare tutto e sarebbe sempre rispondere subito quando ho avuto domande su qualsiasi cosa. Anche alcuni dei nostri tour è stato annullato a causa di problemi di Covid e Stacey subito ri prenotato altri tour per noi e rimborsato la differenza di prezzo pure. Non poteva di stato più utile sarebbe sicuramente prenotare con Stacey di nuovo!

Non solo non è detto chiaramente che questa è una "regola" per avvertirti di non prenotare, ma è anche ageismo e discriminazione. Porterà questo oltre al commercio equo, è stato detto "vai e prova, nessuno ci è riuscito". Beh, aspetti. Personale molto scortese e poco professionale. Come backpacker esperto, ti consiglio di spendere I tuoi soldi altrove.
